Terms of Service

Welcome to SignalTradersEdge. By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before subscribing or using the platform.

1. Service Description

SignalTradersEdge provides an automated trade execution bot delivered as a software-as-a-service (SaaS) product. Our software monitors trading signals from third-party signal providers and automatically executes corresponding trades in your connected brokerage account.

SignalTradersEdge is a software automation tool only. We are not a financial advisor, investment advisor, broker-dealer, or signal provider. We do not provide trading signals, investment advice, or recommendations of any kind. We do not manage your money or make discretionary trading decisions on your behalf.

2. User Responsibilities

By using SignalTradersEdge, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • You must maintain your own active subscription to a compatible third-party signal provider. SignalTradersEdge does not provide trading signals.
  • You must maintain your own brokerage or exchange account with a supported platform (e.g., Alpaca, BloFin).
  • You are solely responsible for all trading activity in your account, including any trades executed by the bot on your behalf.
  • You are responsible for configuring the bot correctly, including position sizing, asset whitelists, and risk parameters.
  • You must be of legal age to trade in your jurisdiction and comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

3. API Key Usage and Security

To use our service, you provide API keys from your brokerage or exchange account. You agree to the following:

  • API keys must be configured with trade-only permissions. We do not require or accept API keys with withdrawal access.
  • Your API keys are stored using industry-standard encryption and are never shared with third parties.
  • You retain full custody and control of your funds at all times. SignalTradersEdge cannot withdraw, transfer, or move funds from your account.
  • You are responsible for revoking API keys if you discontinue use of the service.

4. Risk Disclosure

Trading in stocks, ETFs, cryptocurrencies, and other financial instruments involves significant risk of loss. You acknowledge and agree that:

  • There is no guarantee of profits. Past performance of any signal provider or trading system is not indicative of future results.
  • You may lose some or all of your invested capital.
  • Market conditions, API failures, network outages, and other factors beyond our control may affect trade execution.
  • You are solely responsible for determining whether automated trading is appropriate for your financial situation and risk tolerance.

5. Custody and Control of Funds

SignalTradersEdge never has custody of your funds. Your assets remain in your brokerage or exchange account at all times. You can manually override, close, or modify any position at any time through your brokerage's own interface. You can revoke API access at any time to immediately stop automated execution.

6. Subscription and Billing

  • SignalTradersEdge is offered on a monthly subscription basis.
  • Payment is processed through Stripe. You authorize recurring monthly charges to your payment method.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SignalTradersEdge and its owners, operators, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for:

  • Any financial losses resulting from trades executed or not executed by the bot.
  • Missed trades due to API failures, network outages, exchange downtime, or signal provider issues.
  • Losses resulting from market conditions, slippage, or liquidity issues.
  • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
  • Service interruptions, bugs, or errors in the software.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the three (3) months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

  • Either party may terminate this agreement at any time for any reason.
  • You may cancel your subscription through your account settings or by contacting support.
  • We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms or engage in abusive behavior.
  • Upon termination, you retain full access to your brokerage account and all funds therein. Only the automated execution service ceases.

9. Intellectual Property

All software, code, algorithms, documentation, branding, and content associated with SignalTradersEdge are the exclusive intellectual property of SignalTradersEdge. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service for the duration of your subscription. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, redistribute, or create derivative works from our software.

10. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the platform with at least 14 days' notice. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Hawaii, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in the courts of the State of Hawaii.
